MEET ROXANNA CRISP
As President, 2nd generation owner Roxanna, named after her mother, leads Quick ‘n Split into the next generation, she is always mindful of the trail that was blazed by her parents, brothers, cousins, aunts, and uncles. Roxanna was trained from the age of 9 by her father inside the original location on 78th and Western Ave. From packing meat patties, counting inventory, learning recipes, cooking, cleaning, and hiring employees. Roxanna inherited Quick ‘n Split in 2000, owning her very first location on Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd and LaSalle Ave. in Los Angeles, Ca. Today, Roxanna with the help of her son and Vice President Darian, The Quick ‘n Split Team, and Partners, are paving the way for the next 50 years. She tells it like this:
"First and foremost I'd like to thank my mother and father, Roxanna and Floyd Crisp. Their vision, passion and commitment set such a firm foundation for our company, and the core values that they established for us back in 1974 still guide us today. My father was an incredibly hard worker who was passionate about quality and consistency. Back in the day, he hand-selected only the highest quality meats, cheeses, and produce for his customers. My mother was always right there with her husband from the start. Created the name “Quick ‘n Split Burgers” and equally committed to quality, always making sure the Quick ‘n Split associates were treated like family. Additionally, she was the driving force behind Quick ‘n Split’s philanthropic efforts and today, the Quick ‘n Split Foundation still carries out their vision."
"Floyd’s commitment to training was unparalleled and his belief in the importance of training. Dad was so fanatical about quality that he invested heavily in perfecting the ice cream recipe for over 10 years, being tried and trusted by the opinions of locals in the neighborhood. Today, our homemade ice cream, meat quality, secret recipe ingredients, and cooking procedures, are the freshest, highest quality products resulting in the great tasting burgers, fries, and homemade ice cream that our customers enjoy today. Our state-of-the-art procedures still have my dad's fingerprints all over them."
"I'm so blessed to have had such a great family of leaders that came before me. Today, I view a big part of my job as adhering to and living up to the high standards that have been built up over the past 50 years. But there is more to my vision for Quick ‘n Split... we don't just want to live up to our own high standards... we want to exceed them!"
